Infix - my PDF saviour

While at the ITI Conference in April, I spotted a talk on the little-known software "Infix". This miraculous little tool is able to convert uneditable PDF documents into xml files that I can then import into my CAT tool (Transit NXT is still my favourite, but Trados Studio 2014 and Across are growing on me!). After translating the document in the CAT tool, I can re-export it as an xml file, and finally import the translated xml file back into the original PDF file. Amazing!

Now, I'm pretty sure that if you're not a translator, this post is full of gobbledegook, but if you often wished you could edit PDF documents, this could be the tool for you! You can edit text, resize boxes and many more besides.
