Today, Friday 10th April 2020, should have been Ben's Grandad Tom's 78th birthday, but sadly his name was added to the UK's list of Covid-19 victims at the end of last month. He was an incredibly kind and gentle man, he loved hearing about Izzy's escapades and was also fascinated by hybrid cars. I'm really struggling with not being able to visit Nan and give her the biggest cuddle I can, especially today. But I know that when this is all over, we'll all have a big celebration in Tom's honour and in the meantime, I thought I'd share a few of my favourite memories of him.

Wherever Tom is now, I'm sure he'll have been up a ladder this morning and will now be basking in the sunshine, drinking a pint of orange squash and sneaking the odd toffee. Rest in peace, Tom.
